How LawnPrice works

Transparent by design: here is exactly where every number on this site comes from.

1. Where the prices come from

Once every 24 hours an automated script visits the official online store of each tracked brand and reads the public product catalogue — title, price, "was" price, fabric, availability and image. We never use third-party marketplaces or user submissions.

2. What we track

Women's unstitched fabric only: lawn, khaddar, cambric, linen, silk, velvet, jacquard and similar. Stitched pret, menswear, kids, accessories and home textiles are excluded so comparisons stay like-for-like.

3. How discounts are calculated

discount % = 1 − (current price ÷ brand's listed "was" price). If a brand does not publish a "was" price, the item is not counted as on sale even if it recently got cheaper — instead it appears under Price drops.

4. "Lowest ever" and price history

Each product keeps a daily price log. "Lowest ever" means today's price is equal to or below every price we have recorded for that item. History starts the first day we see a product, so newly added items show limited data.

5. Brand sale meter

The share of a brand's tracked catalogue that is discounted today. Above 50% almost always indicates a store-wide sale; 20–50% a partial or category sale; below 20% normal promotions.

6. Known limitations

• Prices can change between our daily check and your visit — always confirm on the brand site.
• Brands that do not expose a public catalogue (currently Khaadi and Sapphire) are not yet included.
• Stock status is as of collection time.

Spotted a wrong price or mis-categorised product? Tell us — verified corrections are applied within 24 hours.
